Meet your dream team
The Taproom Agency isn’t your typical digital agency. We're located all over the world, but together we form a team that brings unparalleled enthusiasm, passion, and creativity for small businesses and e-commerce to every project. We take our expertise and help to build Shopify stores that look great and get results, guiding you through the creation process so that you understand what we’re doing and how your new store works.
Owner, Lead Developer
Developer, business owner, cat enthusiast, caffeine addict. Kelly is secret sauce that keeps things running day in and evening out. As The Taproom’s owner and lead developer, her days consist of hours-long coding marathons, countless client communications, business strategy sessions, and the occasional breath of fresh air when it comes time to scarf down some midday Chick-fil-A. Luckily, at the end of the day, what this means for you is that she’s going to make darn sure your online store is a lean, mean sales machine.
When she doesn’t have her nose in a Macbook, Kelly is travelling Europe with her 9.8/10 husband, experimenting with the latest gin and tonic combos, and putting on all her sweaters at once because she just loves sweaters SO MUCH.
Angie's design chops are second to none. She's been an entrepreneur since 2006 as a brand identity and web designer, AND she's an incredibly talented photographer on top of all that. She received her BFA from UGA (Go Dawgs!) and really delves into the psychological and customer-centric side of design to ensure her designs are achieving their intended goals.
Born and raised in the South, she lives with her amazing husband and two pugs, seeking out the proper bottle of wine to complement her latest inventive meal.
Madison is motivated by making the world a better place, and uses her incredible design skills to contribute to the greater good with every project. She's currently studying for her Master's degree in art and theology at Dallas Theological Seminary.
When not designing, she's likely seeking out her next book, saying "no thanks" to any and all cold food (seriously, it makes her skin crawl), and daydreams of one day starting her own non-profit.
Gemma is obsessed with learning. Classes she's taken in the past include bread making, sewing, pilates, Illustrator, functional programming, home-brewing, and Indian cooking. That is why coding was a natural choice for Gemma. There's always a new skill, programming language, technology to learn. Like her favorite beer, Brown Ale, you'll find Gemma's code to be full-bodied, smooth, and deliciously dark without a hint of bitterness.
Fueled by coffee, driven by creative content, Shannon is our resident social media whiz kid based in Glasgow, Scotland. She considers her job to be more of a hobby, coming up with interesting, unique ideas that get people interested and engaged online. Aside from that, her favorite things are puppies, sour beer, and well laid out Adobe Illustrator files.
She also works for an award-winning craft brewery in Scotland, and was short-listed for Young Talent award at the Scottish Food and Drink Awards in 2017!
Rachel is the queen of marketing and SEO strategy. A multi-tasking pro and Shopify Expert herself, she's worked with some big-name clients setting up and managing their SEO and paid search strategy. We're lucky to have such a seasoned expert.
When she's not digging into the latest SEO trends, she's likely chasing around her adorable son, making lists to track down her other lists, and finding a way to incorporate food into any and every work event.
Gina is our all-star content specialist, lending her hand on all things data migration and product configuration (and making a stellar pot of coffee). She additionally freelances her time in various avenues, primarily in the entertainment and events industry. Using her strong analytical skills and attention to detail, she makes 100% sure your product and page information is migrated perfectly over to Shopify, and no links get left behind.
Outside of work, she spends her time with her husband, cats, and volunteering at the local animal shelter. Oh - did I mention she's my mother-in-law? Bonus points.
Ruby is the boundless spirit that inspires us to so effectively run around the yard keep things running on the day to day. Her skills include getting into things that don't belong to her, catching and playing with any available wildlife, and providing the best stress relief in the form of head pats.
That's about all she does, but that's okay. She says she wants to code, but typing is a struggle. We'll get there.
We've gone through the vetting process by Shopify to be recognized as an Expert on Shopify's platform. This means we know Shopify forwards and backwards, and you can trust that you're putting your online business in capable hands. Take a look at our many testimonials to hear from some of our satisfied clients.

I feel so fortunate to have found Kelly to bring my site and business to life. When I asked if something was possible, she investigated the possibilities before saying no or suggesting something else. She has a great eye and is great sounding board. Her follow up is great in all situations. Thanks to Kelly I have the functionality and look I envisioned in my dream! — Marc Skid
Kelly's knowledge of the [Shopify] platform, ability to tell us what would/wouldn’t work on the site, and her attention to detail were all very impressive. Most importantly she set deadlines we needed to hit so we could hit our target launch date. — Chic Soul
No two projects ever work the same; your Shopify store is personal and important to your business, and a development process with flexibility and a focus on your brand is key to the work we do.
It all starts with a simple questionnaire so that we get a feel for what you’re looking for, and we put together a personally tailored proposal with the services you would benefit from most. From there, we get to really know your brand and use our knowledge of Shopify to develop and grow your store into a complete product.
Throughout the process, we always collaborate not just with each other but with you and your team on the look, feel, and functionality of your site, providing you with plenty of knowledge and insight along the way to ensure you know your website inside-out.
What happens next?
Well that's up to you!
Once your store is ready and live, we’ll stick by your side to make sure your site is a well-oiled ecommerce machine.
Like we’ve said, every project is different because we tailor our strategy to you and what you need, so once your site is up and raring to go we can offer advice and work with you on up-keep, management, and continued development.
